Brain_Storm Brain_Storm is a study recording package for techniques such as:
The software provides four intuitively designed screens allowing the user to input general project data, study team details, session specific data (nodes, guidewords etc. for HAZOP) together with default settings if required. The software is designed for ease of use during a recording session. The user has complete freedom in renaming titles to their choice simply by double clicking a title. The "Input" screen is main screen used during the recording of a session. It allows new session specific data to be entered via pull down menus. Actions are automatically numbered in a sequential manner and can be renumbered into the users preferred order. |

"intuitive yet powerful" A "Grid" screen allows the user to view all the data that has been entered for a specific session in a tabular format. The grid allows the data to be searched and organised according to the users preference. The user can either print reports from the software itself or export them into various formats. Several types of report can be generated e.g. detailed (1 record per page), action (1 action per page), summary (tabulated summary of grouped records) . Each report has a front sheet that displays all the general information of the project. A further option can generate a fully formatted report. The actions from the software can exported to the ARMS action management software. The user can change the layout of the screens and the reports simply by changing the font to their preferred choice.
